Conspiracy Theory #9818659 Continues

So if you've read this post you already know what I'm talking about... Conspriacy Therory #9818659 ... If not, I basically believe there is a movement in the media to convince the public it's OK to be fat, it's not your fault you're obese, and that it's OK to pig out... and that the media is trying to convince the public of these bullshit facts right before the biggest eating season of the year. (IE Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years).

If you can't see the connection.... you are simply blind. There are millions and billions to be made by the food industry over the coming weeks, and if people watch their waistlines and think healthy (you know, think about how long they want to live etc) there could be just as much money lost by these same companies.

So to continue a long the same vein as my other post on this topic ....

I pop on the TV for 1/2 hour last night and hear 4 stories along the same lines. FOUR in a half hour.

-The first is an other celebrity dressing as a fat person and learning how society treats obese people. I have no idea who she was, but she was hot... but that's besides the point... it's just another lets feel sorry for the obese people, and society must learn to accept them. Wait.. accept them? Overweight people are actually the majority. The whole story is slanted to make you feel it's OK to be BIG and that society will eventually accept you.

-The next story was about the obese gene once again... This story tells you.. It's all gonna be OK, if you don't have a heart attack in the next 10 years they will probably develop a pill that will make you thin. They've been talking about this pill for 60 years! Here's a news flash... the pill is diet and exercise and takes less than an hour a day and can add up to a 1/3 to your life.

The next 2 stories were just crazier...

-The first talked about water. Every diet and exercise program talks about drinking lots of water, so of course how can we turn people against all diet and exercise programs? This story actually talked about how drinking too much water can be very problematic (and possibly life threatening) on your renal system (kidney's). Such a load of bullshit I have never heard. Even though they had several Dr's talking about how insane this claim was it was all like a cheap trial, where once someone says something, even if you tell the jury to ignore the remark, it's too late because they have heard it. All I could think about where all the people at home who would hear the first 2 minutes and ignore all the professionals saying the whole thing was foolish. (Your body self regulates.... it's called pissing!)

- The final story talked about Bigorexia. Again, just a crazy story. It talked about people who spend too much time in the gym and that it is the opposite of anorexia. It talked about these "crazy people" who spend hours in the gym, workout everyday and even ... and they actually said this... "track everything they eat every day"..... WOW, those are some crazy people!

There's all these professional athletes, I thought they were healthy, but it turns out they have this disease... And all those amateur athletes... God, and actors, fitness trainers, bodybuilders, people exercising for their health.. all sick and I never knew it.

It was just an unbelievable new piece, I couldn't believe they were actually spewing this utter bullshit for a 20 minute news article.

And of course their one example was a guy who went from insanely obese to strongman competitions in less than a year and ended up with numerous injuries and health problems. (It's called an uninformed idiot using steroids and poor training techniques)

The whole point of this story was it's bad to spend too much time in the gym and you shouldn't do it very often....

So in 1/2 hour I was told we should feel sorry for obese people, that they are still working on a pill to make everyone look like Brad and Angelina, that too much water is bad and that working out for even an hour a day is a mental health problem like anorexia. Add this to the stories in my last post about this and if I didn't know anything about health and fitness I'd be thinking "What the fuck? I'm pigging out come the holidays cause it's OK to be fat, they'll fix it someday, and working out.... well that's bad for ya too ... Everything must be bad for ya?... Ya. I'm gonna eat what ever I like" and in six months time they will be reporting that obesity has overtaking smoking as the number one health problem in North America. It has already, but they ain't reporting that yet... cause then people might not eat as much.

Why do they push all this BULLSHIT on an unknowing public? Isn't there any morals in the media anymore?

Gratuitous hot chick
